The previous year, Michael enjoyed a wonderful month working as Musical Director for pantomime at the Blackfriar's Theatre, Boston. An especial highlight was working and sharing a dressing room with the world's leading circus ring-master, Norman Barrett MBE, who had brought along his Amazing Performing Budgies.
